5 Tracker Info

Select Tracker Info from the menu to display information on setting up a tracker client application.

If you are using the TripLogger Remote for iOS app, you only need this page to ascertain the Device identifier which is a Universally Unique Identifier (UUID). All the other information is for customising another client app. The UUID consists of a string of 32 characters separated by four dashes. This value needs to be copied, ideally by cut-and-paste, into the User identifier field in the app’s settings page.

If you think there is the slightest possibility that your UUID may have been exposed to an unauthorised person, simply click the Generate new tracking ID to immediately revoke the previous UUID and generate a new one. There is absolutely no harm in creating new ones as frequently as you like. Just make sure to update the client application you are using with the new UUID and test that it successfully reports your location to the remote server.
