4 PostgreSQL Setup

The following packages are required to run the application with PostgreSQL:

• postgis

On a Debian distribution, install the postgis and postgresql packages.

• Creating a Database User
• Creating the trip Database
• Creating Tables and Roles
• Creating an Initial Admin User
