To create a new itinerary, select Itineraries from the main menu
and click the New button.
When you first create an itinerary, you must give it a title and can optionally enter start and end dates together with some descriptive text.
The text is interpreted following the syntax of Markdown as created by John Gruber. Markdown is a wonderful way of being able to write markup in a format that is very presentable in its original text form and also efficiently displayed as formatted HTML on the web.
