If you wish, you can manually record the current location in your track
log. If you want to include a note together with your location, type it
into the Note field. To save your current location in your track
log, click the Record this position button. When the track log
is viewed, the Provider column shows web-browser
indicating how the location was determined.
This can be a useful fallback in the event that the remote logging application is not working or that you are somewhere without GPS reception but can indicate on a map where you are.
