Open Office

Introduction

This document contains hints and tips when using Open Office. version 1.1.

Date Settings

To change the format that dates are shown in oocalc

  1. Select 'Tools|Options' from the main menu.
  2. Select 'Language' under 'Language Settings' in the tree view
  3. Under 'Locale setting' select 'English (UK)' or whatever

Fit To Page

Calc

This setting refers to OpenOffice version 2.4.

  1. Choose Format->Page from the main menu
  2. Select the 'Sheet' tab
  3. Change the 'Scaling mode' as appropriate, e.g. Fit print rangse(s) to width/height'
